Dr Catherine Kershaw BCh Hons 1989 Profession: Dentist GDC number: 64956

I qualified from Leeds University in 1989 and then spent two years working at Leeds General Infirmary gaining further experience in oral surgery.

Next stop was Northern Canada where I worked with the Inuit community until the temperatures reached minus 60 degrees and even Leeds seemed warm compared to that so I came home ! Since 1992 I have worked in general practice and taught part time at Leeds Dental Institute.I am also on the interview panel for students hoping to gain a place to study dentistry at Leeds.

I enjoy being involved in the training of the next generation of dentists, but my real passion is the work I do at Leeds Dental Centre (formerly Burley House Dental Care). I am incredibly lucky to absolutely love my job and have the greatest bunch of patients I could hope for at LDC.
