A dental implant serves as an artificial substitute for the root segment of your natural tooth. Crafted from titanium, a material well-tolerated by bone and known for its seamless integration with bone tissue, the implant is inserted into the jaw bone at the site of the missing tooth.
Following the placement of the implant, it undergoes a healing process within the jaw bone, during which the bone tissue merges with the implant's outer surface.
This healing duration typically ranges from six weeks to approximately six months, with the average period for most dental implant cases being around eight weeks.
Throughout this healing phase, you might receive a temporary crown until the final, more permanent crown is prepared for fitting.
A single dental implant costs £1,595 and this includes an implant assessment with X-Ray and CT scan and a porcelain crown for your implant. We also offer multiple dental implants starting from £2,995, as well as all-on-4 dental implants, which can provide you with a full arch of teeth through the placement of 4 implants.
